Origin of The Cantwell Quartet

I was playing one of my favorite video game franchises when the idea for The Cantwell Quartet came about. The stories percolated a while before I sat down and outlined what would become one of my favorite series to write. The order the stories were told was important, and there was no question which character's story would end the series. To keep the characters authentic, I created character sheets and backstories of who each character was. Their names were intentionally chosen to mean the same thing as the original characters. I spent a lot of time considering the series' flow. Who were these men? What made them who they are? The depth and history of each character were important, not only to the story but to how the characters would interact with each other. Gideon, Trenton, Isaac, and Nash. Brothers, though not by blood, must face the dangers of the past to win the women of their dreams.
